Synergen Met Welcomes Vikram Anenden as General Manager of Hydrogen

Synergen Met is thrilled to announce Vikram Anenden has joined the company as General Manager of our Hydrogen division.

Vikram is an experienced engineer with more than 15 years’ operational experience in the power, oil and gas, utilities and renewables sectors.

He joins Synergen Met having recently returned to Brisbane from New Zealand, where he was Commercial Asset and Strategy Manager at multinational integrated oil, gas and petrochemical company OMV.

Vikram said he was excited to join such a forward-thinking company at a time when there was so much national and international focus on decarbonisation.

“There has been a substantial shift in recent years with the rise of emerging technologies,” he said.

“Mining, oil and gas and utilities companies are evolving to being commercially ready, and are looking at ways they can do their bit.

“Synergen Met is in the unique position in that we’re able to partner with these organisations to help them deliver on their targets.”

Vikram said there was an ever-increasing desire among traditionally intensive carbon emitting industries to be part of the change that would lower emissions and lead to more sustainable solutions.

“Cleantech companies like ours with working technologies, have a real opportunity to leverage what we know while industry is listening,” he said.

Vikram has worked in mergers and acquisitions, upstream gas development, corporate valuation and sustainable energy investments.

He has a Bachelor of Engineering, a Masters in Energy Economics and is a Juris Doctor candidate.
